With offices in Encino Rafik Ayvazi concentrates his practice in Real Estate, Construction, and Risk Management. His background in Construction Management and Real Estate has enabled him to be an effective advocate for his clients. Rafik Ayvazi speaks Farsi and Armenian.

Mr. Ayvazi’s knowledge in contract negotiation, claim resolution, dispute, mediation, litigation and arbitration of real estate & construction matters, allows him to represent a broad range of clients including general contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, property owners, and real estate brokers & agents. In addition, Mr. Ayvazi provides general counsel services for several construction and real estate companies based in Southern California.

In 1986, after receiving his Master of Science with an emphasis in Construction Management (Northeastern University, Boston1981) in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Pahlavi University, Shiraz1975), Rafik was admitted to the California Bar. Since 1984 Rafik has been a Licensed General Contractor, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Rafik also holds the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. These, in addition to being an attorney, are a combination of expertise which allows him to integrate law with business, providing a unique perspective unmatched by other professionals in the industry.

Mr. Ayvazi has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California; the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; Federal Claims Court; Tax Court, and United States Supreme Court. He has been a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Iranian American Lawyers Association, Armenian Bar Association, Associated General Contractors of California Legal Advisory Committee, Armenian Professional Society, Armenian American Chamber of Commerce, Iranian American Construction Association, National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and Southland Regional Association.
